Vaccine Clinics Being Held at Mt. SAC
Weekly COVID-19 Vaccinations are now available on campus until August 19.
Mt. San Antonio College has partnered with East Valley Community Health Center to conduct free clinics and administer vaccinations through the rest of the summer intersession.
The East Valley Community Health Center is a non-profit that provides medical and financial assistance to members of the community. Their services at Mt. SAC are available to students, employees or any community members over the age of 12.
Using the My Turn website, vaccines are available to book through appointment but walk-ins will be accommodated. The weekly clinics will be available every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the courtyard of building 67A until the fall semester begins on Aug. 23.
The first clinic was held last Thursday where members of the community were offered the Pfizer vaccine until noon. Pfzer will continue to be offered the following two Thursdays with the Moderna vaccine available at the last clinic on Aug. 19.
For anyone requiring a second dose of the vaccine after the clinics are held on campus, the East Valley Community Health Center will continue offering their free services at any of their East Valley Clinics in West Covina, Pomona and Azusa.
All three authorized and recommended vaccines are readily available to be administered. If community members have a preference to one of the three FDA approved vaccines, vaccination dates are available on the East Valley Community Health Center website.
