SAC had a huge bounce back victory on Saturday afternoon against the Saddleback Bobcats during the Mt. SAC Tournament. The men dominated their way to a 14-8 victory.
Sophomore attacker Trevor Davis (7) led the way for SAC finishing with five goals and three assists. Up there with him was sophomore utility player Jacob Carlson (17), who had a stellar performance as well, scoring four goals and four steals.
Freshman goalie Michael Hale (14) held things down on the defensive side for SAC. Hale (14) tallied six saves and were a key asset in the team’s win.
“Some of our key takeaways from the game was being more effective on offense and not going back on defense quite as quickly,” assistant coach Lani Ruh said following the win.
SAC will continue their season on Friday, Sept. 26, competing in the Cuesta Tournament in San Luis Obispo.
