Men’s and women’s basketball players of the 2025–26 basketball season.
Mt. SAC kicked off the 2025–26 basketball season with Mountie Madness, a high-energy and school-spirit fueled showcase on Oct. 23 from 9 p.m. to midnight, inside the Mt. SAC Gymnasium.
The annual event featured introductions of the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The energy was at an all-time high, as both teams faced off in fun and exciting games throughout the night. The dunk exhibition had the players jumping off their feet, a three-point contest displayed the shooting ranges of the players, and a series of fan-involved skill challenges. Students packed the gym to enjoy performances by the cheer and dance teams, prize giveaways, and live music by DJ Trevizzle.
Basketball coach Brian Crichlow alongside other members of the Mt. SAC Athletics Department hosted the games. Athletes from Mt. SAC’s football, women’s volleyball, cheer and dance teams were also in attendance to show their support after coming from the Homecoming football game.
Mountie Madness marked the official start of basketball season at Mt. SAC and celebrates the college’s athletic community.
