‘No Kings’ protest draws millions across the U.S. in opposition to Trump

On Oct. 18, people took to the streets en masse again in the second No Kings protest to advocate against the policies enacted by current president Donald Trump. Nationwide, over 7 million people showed up to show their dissatisfaction with the administration.

The response to the protests from the White House were mixed. Notable statements include an AI generated video of Donald Trump flying a fighter jet dropping feces on protestors and Speaker of the House James (Mike) Johnson calling the event “Anti-America protests.” This behavior showcases why the vast majority of Americans are disappointed with the current administration
