Two catalytic converter thefts mark the start of the Mt. SAC spring semester

Data from 2020 to March 2024 indicates most of these thefts are on Lot A and Lot B

On Monday, Feb. 5, a Mt. SAC student’s catalytic converter was soldered off at Mt. SAC estimating $2500 in repairs. Two weeks later on Feb. 27, another student’s catalytic converter was stolen in Lot B.

This string of events compelled SAC Media to organize the history of catalytic converter thefts at Mt. SAC.
