I can’t stop talking once you get me started about something. Especially when I feel I’m right about said topic.
Stop crying on your social media
I get doing a normal “my so and so passed away guys I’m so sad these are my favorite memories” post or a rant post. But when you make your whole personality about how much you cry and you post it on your story on the daily, seek help please.
You’re not a race car driver
No you don’t need to go 70 down Grand Ave. and cut off the guy you were tailgating. Just because your truck can go that fast doesn’t mean you need to go that fast. Some of you need to learn to drive like normal people and quit taking the smallest gaps you see to make the exit you almost missed. Don’t cut me off and break up the flow of traffic just because you made a mistake. On top of that, learn how to use your turn signals, there is literally no reason to not use your signals. It’s so easy to be a decent driver just don’t think you’re going to F1 anytime soon.
If you don’t have your license by 19 you’re a bum
It’s really not that difficult. By the time you’re 19 you’ve had 4 years to try to get your license. On top of that you probably have a job by that age. I can’t imagine telling your mom or dad “I need a ride to work right now.” On top of that, even though you have to pay for gas or insurance you unlock a whole new way of life and you can supplement those costs through gas money your friends give you.
Give your friends gas money
Going off that last point, just give your friends gas money when they drive you. Gas is $5 a gallon or even more right now and I know most of you or your friends are driving 4 door Toyotas. Those things are so fuel efficient. 5 dollars is a life saver for gas.
If you don’t try (almost) everything at least twice you’re not having enough fun
You only have one life so if you’re not trying everything you can at least once you’re going to miss out on so many things. Even if you do something only once, you are a human you change over time. Go try it again. “Oh my god no I can’t go on this roller coaster!” The last time you’ve been on a roller coaster you were 5, grow up and try again. Just like your tastebuds change, you change.
Not everything is performative.
The joke was funny for a time and the archetype does exist. But it’s gotten to a point where anybody with non-traditional hobbies is getting called performative. You can’t just give hell to anyone who has a hobby that you wanna gatekeep.
The difference between a chicken nugget, tender and boneless wing is easy enough to tell the difference.
It’s really not that hard guys, you just need to think of what is different about each. The wing has a specific sauce on it. A nugget is obviously a small cut of chicken and the tender is a slightly larger cut.
If you only care for the fighting scenes of a series then you don’t really like the series you like fights.
For shows like “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Attack on Titan” or movie franchises like “Star Wars” and “Marvel,” if you can only talk about the fight scenes you’re not a real fan. Even though these series mainly achieve acclaim through those fights there is tons of dialogue that can be more interesting than the main parts of the series. You see the way the higher ups in a society pick on the groups they see below them. These stories are allegories for real world events we can piece over in front of what we see today so pay attention to more than just the fights .
You’ll never be as rich as a billionaire
There is no way to be ethical as a billionaire, and we have multi-billionaires. It shouldn’t be something we look up to when they all act in the interests of their own money. I’m talking to you day traders who think you’re gonna get rich quick off that. Just because you have $10,000 in stocks right now does not mean you’re going to make it triple in 2 years. It’s gambling at the end of the day, and you never know when you’ll lose.
Everyone needs to print more photos.
We all have too many photos sitting in our camera rolls right now. 4×6 photos are so easily accessible and we don’t live in a world where we need to pay for film or developing anymore. Buying a corkboard and putting up the photos you have with your friends and family will be worth it.
